2 hospitalized after car hits utility pole in Monroe Township

MONROE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (WPVI) -- A car crash in Monroe Township, New Jersey has landed two people in the hospital.

The Action Cam was at the scene on the 1800 block of Glassboro Road.

Police say the vehicle went out of control at about 2 a.m. Sunday, and slammed into a utility pole.

It took firefighters about 20 minutes to pry open the car and reach the trapped driver and passenger.

The victims are in serious condition.
