Proud moment for dozens of Police families in Sewell, N.J.

SEWELL, N.J. (WPVI) -- It was a very proud moment for dozens of families in Sewell, N.J. Wednesday afternoon.

44 police recruits can now call themselves graduates of the Gloucester County Police Academy.

38 men and 6 women from surrounding counties have spent the past several weeks studying to become police officers.

Now they will take what they've learned and help protect their own communities.
