Screwdriver used in stabbing attack in Spring Garden

SPRING GARDEN (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating an overnight stabbing where the suspect used a screwdriver in the attack.

The incident occurred just before 2 a.m. on 11th and Green streets in Spring Garden.

Police say the victim, a man in his 50s, was stabbed in his chest and arm.

Investigators say the suspect got away with some cigarettes and money.

The victim is expected to be okay.
