2 men shot inside a car in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA -- Police say one man is dead and another injured after being shot inside a car in North Philadelphia Monday evening.

The shooting occurred on the 2700 North 5th Street.

The 31-year-old driver was shot in the back and managed to drive to Temple University Hospital for help.

There is now word on his condition.

His passenger, a man in his 30's was shot in the chest. He was pronounced dead.

Police say the car was held at the scene.

So far, there are no arrests or word on a motive.
