BEAR, Del. (WPVI) -- A Delaware fifth grader broke a record at the nation's largest women's amateur track and field series.

Eleven-year old Kiara Davis of Wilbur Elementary School in Bear broke the Elementary B High Jump record at the Colgate Women's Games in New York last weekend.

She cleared the bar at 4-feet 9.25-inches.

Davis also won her division's 55 meter-hurdles in 10.24.
