2 hurt, utility pole broken in New Castle crash

NEW CASTLE, Del. (WPVI) -- A two vehicle crash in New Castle, Delaware landed both drivers in the hospital Monday afternoon.

The collision happened shortly after 1:00 at the intersection of Airport Road and Christiana Road.

A Cadillac and a black SUV collided resulting in the Cadillac jumping a curb and striking a utility pole, breaking the pole.

A female driver from each vehicle was taken to Christiana Hospital.

State Police are investigating what led to the crash.
