Flower show "Bloom Philly" contest

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- The Philadelphia Flower Show kicks off this weekend at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

On Thursday organizers celebrated the spirit of this year's "Flower Power" theme.

A panel of judges announced the winners of the "Bloom Philly" contest.

Contestants transformed the windows of their businesses into festive, flower-filled scenes.

They competed in 18 categories, from best art gallery to bakery to coffee and candy shops.
