I-95 reopens following police investigation in Frankford

FRANKFORD (WPVI) -- Pennsylvania State Police and emergency crews have reopened the northbound lanes of I-95 in the city's Frankford section.

Police began investigating an incident just before 11 a.m. in the area approaching Exit 27 (Bridge Street/Harbison Ave).

Drivers were urged to seek an alternative route while the lanes remained closed.

State police continue to investigate.
