Firefighter hurt battling blaze in Bridesburg

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A firefighter was hospitalized on Sunday night battling a blaze in the Bridesburg section of Philadelphia.

It happened on the 4200 block of Almond Street.

Flames were coming from the rear of a garage when crews arrived.

The hurt firefighter suffered a minor injury and is expected to be ok.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
