5-vehicle crash leaves several injured in Northeast Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are working to determine what caused a wreck involving multiple vehicles Sunday afternoon in Northeast Philadelphia.

The Action Cam was along the intersection of Academy Road and Morell Avenue.

The crash happened just after 1 p.m.

Police say five vehicles crashed into each other.

Several people were taken to the hospital, but the extent of their injuries is unclear.
