16-year-old boy shot, wounded in Newark,Delaware

NEWARK, Delaware (WPVI) -- A 16-year-old boy was shot in New Castle County, Delaware.

Officers responded to the call of shots fired on Green Ridge Drive in Newark just after 8 p.m. Monday.

The teen was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

There's no word on who shot him, or why.
