Pa. expanding curbside pickup at liquor stores
Pennsylvania is expanding its curbside pickup at liquor stores throughout the state.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Here's a look at what types of businesses around Philadelphia, New Jersey and Delaware are considered essential and allowed to say open during the coronavirus pandemic.

Pennsylvania

Governor Tom Wolf has put in place a color-coded system of reopening phases for Pennsylvania. Counties in the red phase have the tightest restrictions; some restrictions are loosened in the yellow phase; and most restrictions are lifted in the green phase.

As of May 22, Philadelphia and nearby counties, including Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lehigh and Montgomery counties, remained in the red phase.

New Jersey

Governor Phil Murphy unveiled a multi-stage system for reopening New Jersey, which he outlined at a news conference on May 18. The plan begins with an outline of 'maximum restrictions,' them moves into several stages with restrictions relaxed in each.

This plan followed Murphy's list of six principles that will guide New Jersey officials when it comes to making decisions about reopening.

Delaware

Governor John Carney released his requirements for Delaware to begin the reopen process, and the a list of steps required to get there.

The state is targeting a reopening date of June 1, state officials say.
