Preps underway for 6abc Dunkin' Donuts Thanksgiving Day Parade

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- We are two days away from one of Philadelphia's biggest holiday traditions, the 6abc Dunkin' Donuts Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Rehearsals are in full swing and crews have been setting up along the Ben Franklin Parkway.

The parade route is 1.4 miles long.

It will kick off at 20th and Market and weave down along the parkway to the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

The parade will feature dozens of balloons and floats as well as appearances from Ginger Zee, Drew Lachey, DJ Kool, and Broadway Philadelphia performances from "The King and I," "Mamma Mia," and "Dirty Dancing."

If you're not going to see the big show in person, don't worry.

Coverage of the parade will begin at 8:30 a.m. Thursday morning on 6abc.
