7-Eleven store robbed at knifepoint in Center City Philadelphia

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Police in Philadelphia are asking the public to help them track down a man who robbed a Center City convenience store at knifepoint.

It happened before 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the 7-Eleven store at 8th and Walnut streets.

Investigators say the suspect walked into the store and threatened the clerk with a knife.

He got away with an unspecified amount of cash.

No one was hurt during the robbery.

Anyone with information about the suspect or the holdup is asked to contact Philadelphia Police.
