Nearly 9 million Pennsylvanians have registered to vote
PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- It's official: nearly 9 million Pennsylvanians are registered to vote, with about 683,000 ballots cast and counting, according to the Pennsylvania Department of State.
Delaware County residents will be able to register to vote at Subaru Park Friday through Sunday as part of Delaware County's three-day "pop-up" mobile service center.
In Delaware County on Friday, voters braved the rain to register and drop off ballots for the November election.

"It's entertaining but I don't think it's good for my mental health, so I'll be happy when it's over," said Bill McGlone of Aston.
The pop-up Voter Service Center will be managed by the Delaware County Board of Elections and staffed by employees of the county.

Residents will be able to complete election services like voter registration, registration confirmation and mail-in ballot requests and drop-offs.
The DelCo Board of Elections won their court case Thursday against a group of Republicans, with a judge allowing the three-day Subaru Park event to go on as planned.
"We also want to make sure that we're running an election that is accessible to everybody as well, that it's easy for them in any way to get their vote counted," said Marianne Jackson, Delaware County Director of Elections.
Monday, October 19 is the last day to register to vote in Pennsylvania.
With Election Day a little more than two weeks away, Pennsylvania Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar wanted to clear up any confusion voters may have, like: What if someone requested a mail-in ballot but wanted to vote in person instead?
"Go on November 3 to your polling place, stand in line just like everybody else," said Boockvar. "When you get to the poll workers, hand in your whole ballot and the outer envelopes, just say, 'I want to surrender my mail in ballot, I want to vote in person.'"
Boockvar said if you forget your mail-in ballot on Election Day, you can still arrive in person, you'll just cast a provisional ballot.
Pennsylvania Director of Homeland Security Marcus Brown wanted to assure everyone that they will be safe on Election Day.
"We've had trainings where we walked through the different scenarios and concerns we have," said Brown. "And obviously what's being highlighted now is concerns at polling areas but we also talk about weather events, we also talk about power outages, traffic congestion."
