Minivan slams into construction crane in Bear, Delaware

BEAR, Del. (WPVI) -- Two people were sent to the hospital Tuesday morning after a minivan slammed into a construction crane Delaware.

It happened just before 11:00 a.m. on the 1800 block of Bear Corbitt Road in Bear.

Police say the passenger side of the minivan hit the crane.

The female passenger was briefly trapped.

She was transported to Christiana Hospital for evaluation.

The driver was also transported with minor injuries.

Both were alert and talking after the incident.

No word on what caused the crash.
