Planting Hope with honey bees project

NEW CASTLE, Del. (WPVI) -- A Marine Corps Veteran showed off his somewhat unique project Wednesday.

Ronnie Hazlett takes care of five bee hives in New Castle, Delaware.

He's the first person enrolled in the state-run Planting Hope with honey bees project.

It selects a veteran to learn new skills, and provides all of the supplies to get involved with beekeeping.

Hazlett had his colony, and plenty of honey samples on display at the annual healthy halloween walk.
