Giving thanks to first responders

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A Northeast Philadelphia synagogue is getting into the Christmas spirit, to thank police and firefighters for their service.

"Congregations of Shaare Shamayim" will deliver cookies to first responders in Philadelphia, Huntingdon Valley, Abington and Bensalem on Christmas Day.

Wednesday night and Thursday they'll be baking more than 500 treats, in preparation.
