Urban forestry initiative

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A school in East Oak Lane is greener Friday Night thanks to a tree planting event by volunteers.

PHS and TD Bank workers planted trees at the Eugenio Maria de Hostos Charter School-ASPIRA educational campus here on north 2nd street.

The trees will help with poor drainage, provide shade and make a prettier play area.

It's part of an urban forestry initiative.
