Great School Fund grant

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A South Philadelphia School got a big financial boost Tuesday.

City leaders joined with students and administrators at Neumann-Goretti Catholic High School to accept a 300 thousand dollar check.

The money is a grant from the Great School Fund of the Philadelphia School Partnership.

Since 2011, that organization has invested more than 53 million dollars in Philadelphia schools to help students gain access to high quality education.
