Police car involved in crash in Abington, Pa.

ABINGTON, Pa. (WPVI) -- A police car was involved in a crash with another vehicle on Friday afternoon in Abington, Pa.

The crash happened around 3 p.m. on Old York Road and Jericho Road.

Abington police say the officer and the driver of the other vehicle both suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The view from Chopper 6 showed an SUV flipped over onto its roof.

The police car was stopped nearby with front-end damage.

An investigation into this crash continues.
