Abington police search for missing 87-year-old woman

ABINGTON, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police in Abington, Montgomery County are asking for the public's help in locating a missing 87-year-old woman.

Police say Theresa Fields, who suffers from dementia, left her home in the Willow Grove section of Abington Township at 9:00 a.m. Monday to travel a short distance in the township but never arrived.

In 2013, police say Fields went missing and was found in Allentown, Pa.

She is described as a black female, 5'6, 125 pounds, with brown eyes and grey hair.

Fields was last seen wearing a gold sparkle sweater, a black coat and white denim pants.

She was operating a silver Mazda 2 hatchback sedan that has PA registration JFS-1687.

Fields takes medication for dementia and hypertension that were not taken Monday.
