Car flips on Academy Road in Northeast Philadelphia

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Rescue crews on scene of a serious accident in Northeast Philadelphia.

The accident occurred shortly after 2:00 p.m. on Academy Road near President Street in the Morrell Park neighborhood.

Medics are on scene. However, there has been no word on any injuries.

At least one car is involved and overturned.

The view from Chopper 6 showed a number of rescuers surrounding a car at rest on its side.
