PALMYRA, N.J. (WPVI) -- An early morning crash in Burlington County ended with a car in one woman's bedroom.

Police say the driver missed the curve and struck a car at the intersection of Cinnaminson Avenue and West Henry Street in Palmyra at 3:30 a.m. Thursday.

The 24-year-old driver then smashed into one house then hit a neighboring house.

Miraculously, no one was seriously hurt.

"It was upside down; there was oil all over. The gas cap is in our yard," neighbor Alysaa Shacker said.

"I looked in and there was a girl on the bottom of the car, I reached in, we pulled her out, and pulled her to the curb," neighbor Nick Piacentini said.

After taking out a light pole and totaling a car, the vehicle sliced through Catherine Jordan's home while she was sleeping.

"When she hit the front steps to the house, it flipped the vehicle and actually caused the vehicle to slice into the house and into the bedroom," Palmyra Police Chief Scott Pearlman said.

"The wall just flew at me and my dog and we had dust and everything all over us," Jordan said.

Her bed was up against the wall.

"The bed moved back about two feet," Jordan said.

"Her house was completely ripped open, you could see her bed. You could see everything," Shacker said.

The car eventually landed in another neighbor's yard.

"Everyone is telling me I'm lucky just get away with stitches on my fingers, and my dog was fine, cause we could've been killed," Jordan said.

The 24-year-old driver is at Cooper University Hospital with internal, non-life-threatening injuries. She is facing DUI charges.

This wasn't the first time a driver has landed in these yards after missing the curve.

Police say they are working with the county to get a barrier at the curve, to keep any other drivers from crashing into these homes again.

As for Jordan, she is still trying to figure out what to do next, just thankful no one was seriously hurt.

"Just trying to get through it. Veering is going to be okay," Jordan said.

Jordan says she has been told it will take two months to fix her house.

She is still trying to find a temporary place to live and get a rental car.
