Struck truck slows traffic in Newark, Delaware

NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) -- A stuck truck slowed traffic in Newark, Delaware.

It happened at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at Chapel Street and Cleveland Avenue.

A tractor-trailer became wedged under a railroad overpass.

The driver was not seriously injured.

Police tell Action News the crash sent wooden pallets spilling all over the roadway.

Traffic was being detoured away from the scene.

Motorists were being advised to seek alternate routes.
