Woman shot outside after hours club in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are looking for the person responsible for leaving a woman injured after a shooting outside an after hours club in North Philadelphia.

The incident happened around 4 a.m. Saturday on the 500 block of West Venango Street.

Police say A 52-year-old woman was sitting in the passenger side of a 2001 Toyota when she was shot.

The driver immediately drove her to Temple University Hospital for treatment.

She is listed in stable condition.

The witness told police that two unidentified Hispanic males in a gray Ford Windstar minivan were allegedly behind the victim's car, firing at them.

Police are investigating.
