Amazon gets $4.5 million to expand operations in Delaware

NEW CASTLE, Delaware (WPVI) -- Delaware gave the green light for funding for Amazon to set up shop in Wilmington.

The State's Economic Development Office granted the retail giant $4.5 million to expand operations in the city.

The money will be given out over several years.

Amazon promises the deal will create an additional 1,000 jobs.
