Amazon Hiring 500 Workers in Delaware

MIDDLETOWN, Del. (WPVI) -- Amazon is hiring more than 500 full-time workers at its fulfillment center in Middletown, Delaware.

The new employees will be paid $12.00 an hour for positions in packing and shipping and also for jobs doing inventory.

The workers will get medical and other employee benefits.

Adding these jobs will bring the total number of workers at the Delaware facility to 2,500.

The hiring began at the facility on Wednesday and they will hire more people on June 17th.
