Toddler among those injured in North Philadelphia triple shooting

All three victims are stable at this time, according to officials.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A toddler was injured in a triple shooting that took place in North Philadelphia Monday night.

According to police, the shooting happened at Gratz and Dauphin streets just after 9:30 p.m.

Officials say a 2-year-old, the child's mother, and a man were all shot amid the gunfire. The child turned three years old on Tuesday.

Police said they believe someone in a white car stopped and fired several shots down the block and struck the three victims.

All three victims are now in stable condition at Temple University Hospital, according to officials.

It is unclear what led to the shooting. Officials have not released any identities at this time.

"It's a very upsetting scene, but thankfully we are glad that all three are going to be OK," said Deputy Commissioner Krista Dahl-Campbell.



No arrests have been made, according to police.
