The Twilight Wish Foundation led the effort to build a new walkway and ramp for Leo and JoAnne McHugh.
JoAnne is battling ovarian cancer, and has trouble walking, especially to and from the car, which required her to trek up a slope.
The McHughs spent years volunteering with veterans groups.
