WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- A new grant will pay for 600 students to complete programs at Delaware Technical Community College.

Senators Tom Carper and Chris Coons and Governor Elect John Carney helped make the announcement Friday.

The 3 and one half million dollar payment is a federal America's Promise Grant.

It will fund tuition for students in IT and Advanced manufacturing over the next four years.
