Mayor Kenney was at Tilden Middle School for the Thanks for giving day and turkey trot.
Families, teachers, and students joined together to thank the neighborhood for supporting their school.
It is one of the city's first community schools, geared toward providing an education and support for families dealing with adversity outside the classroom.
