VIDEO: Stunning Northern Lights color Alaska sky

PALMER, ALASKA (WPVI) -- The stunning Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights, could be seen shining over parts of Alaska this week.

The purple and green lights colored the Alaska sky during the night of Monday, November 20 into the early morning hours of Tuesday.

Doug Williams was able to capture some footage of the beautiful lights, and uploaded it to Youtube, where it has since been seen by many.
