BLACKWOOD, N.J. (WPVI) -- The Camden County animal shelter is celebrating a record setting 2017.

Last year, the shelter in Blackwood saved 91 percent of the cats and dogs that were brought to their facility.

That's more than they've ever saved before.

They are an open admission shelter, meaning they don't turn away any animal based on their age, breed, or health.

Now, the workers and volunteers want to save even more animals in the coming years.
