NJ firefighters battle blaze in cold weather, icy conditions

BORDENTOWN, N.J. (WPVI) -- Cold weather and icy conditions made it difficult for firefighters to battle a blaze at a home in Bordentown, Burlington County.

The fire started just before 8 p.m. Thursday in the unit block of Poplar Avenue.

Upon arrival, crews reported heavy fire showing from the rear of a two-and-a-half-story dwelling.

It took more than an hour to bring the blaze under control.

No injuries were reported.
