HAVERTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- A bolt of lightning destroyed the cross on top of a catholic school in Havertown Tuesday.

The lightning strike also caused electrical issues inside Cardinal John Foley School on Eagle Road, forcing an evacuation and students sent home early.

No one was hurt.

But school has been cancelled for Wednesday.
