Philadelphia police say the vehicle took down a pole before slamming into the building in the unit block of East Penn Square around 12:30 a.m.
Both women suffered minor injuries.
An investigation into the cause of this crash continues.
Meanwhile, officials say a fire truck was involved in a minor accident while heading to the scene.
No injuries were reported in that incident.
