Several cars, box truck involved in crash on I-95 in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police and emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash involving several vehicles along Interstate 95 in Philadelphia on Monday morning.

The crash happened just after 9:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the highway near the Girard Avenue exit.

Chopper 6 was over the scene as at least six cars and a box truck were sitting disabled on the highway.



There was no immediate word on any injuries.

The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
