"Everybody's very upset. You know I keep praying. I have a lot of faith, keep praying, asking God to hold me tight," Alicea said.
On Friday, November 18, 2016, Alicea said her son said he was going out.
"He said, 'Mom, I'm going to get a haircut,'" added Alicea.
Just after 4 p.m., police were called to a shooting outside APHILLYATED barbershop along the 600 block of Rising Sun Avenue in Philadelphia's Hunting Park section.
Luis had just gotten his haircut and was standing in front of the shop. He and another man were shot multiple times.
Luis, 29, died from his injuries. He leaves behind five children.
