Car crashes into Wendy's restaurant in Delaware

ELSMERE, Del. (WPVI) -- Police are on the scene of a crash in which a vehicle ran into the corner of a Wendy's Restaurant in Elsmere, Delaware.

It happened around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at 2151 Kirkwood Highway.

It's not clear if the driver was injured.

Authorities say the restaurant is open but waiting on a building inspector to determine the safety of the building.
