Master Corporal Michael Ballard faces felony theft charges.
Investigators say Ballard embezzled nearly $22,000 dollars from a department account.
The alleged thefts occurred from October 2015 until June of this year.
Ballard was arraigned Tuesday afternoon.
He's being held on $51,000 bail
