It happened around 8:30 p.m. on Woodlawn Avenue near Capital Trail.

The violent impact dented the roof and punched a hole through the windshield of the first vehicle.
Another car then hit the pedestrian.
He was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.

Authorities say the drivers of both vehicles remained at the scene.
There is no word yet if charges will be filed.
