PSPCA searches for answers in dog stabbing

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The PSPCA is asking for help after a dog was found with stab wounds in Southwest Philadelphia.

Duke, a Pitbull-type dog, was found on the 900 block of South 55th Street Saturday morning.

Duke was transported to the PSPCA where he underwent emergency surgery and is now recovering in the organization's Shelter Hospital where he is in stable condition.

The stabbing is being investigated by the PSPCA's Humane Law Enforcement Department.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
