It happened just before 2 a.m. Sunday near Brinton and Johnson streets.
Police say a gunman shot a male victim in the back and the leg.
Action News is told the 31-year-old victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Investigators are still working to figure out the motive.
No arrests have been made.
