Pedestrian struck and killed by car in Edgewater Park

EDGEWATER PARK, N.J. (WPVI) -- A car hit and killed a person trying to cross Route 130 in Edgewater Park, New Jersey.

The incident occurred at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle stopped and cooperated with police.

The victim's identity has not been released.
