PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A driver is being treated for serious injuries following a crash in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park.
It happened around 10:15 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Belmont and Edgely avenues.

Police say the driver, a 32-year-old woman, was speeding northbound on Belmont when her Mercedes SUV hit an electrical pole, then slammed head-on into a tree.
The vehicle caught fire after the crash, police say. The driver was freed from the wreckage by firefighters.

She was taken to Lankenau Medical Center in critical condition.
