Oliver from Atlanta started a GoFundMe last week, seeking $15,000 to buy a diamond ring for his girlfriend, Alexandra.
He did manage to raise about $600 dollars from friends, family and even strangers.
And while that didn't come close to the price tag, he did post an update showing that he somehow still sprung for the ring and popped the question.
She said yes.
