Local 9-year-old golfer on his way to the Masters

He's one of the best golfers in the country and he can't even drive a car.

Nine-year-old Trevor Sikorski, a 3rd-grader from West Grove in Chester County, is one of only 80 kids in the entire nation - and one of the youngest - to qualify for the Drive, Chip and Putt Championship Sunday at the Masters, just days before the major.

"I think without question, I'm probably more excited than he is," Trevor's father Paul Sikorski said.

After beating out tens of thousands of kids to qualify, Trevor will get a shot to putt on the famous 18th hole at Augusta National, where he's hoping to sink a big win.

"Very excited because I get to putt on number 18 where all the professionals putt," Trevor said.

Trevor's love for golf teed off four years ago, when his father bought him golf clubs. Now, his dad gets to caddy for his son at the home of the Masters.

"He qualified back in September and I haven't been able to sleep that much for the last six months. I think for anybody who watches golf, the Masters is the pinnacle," Paul said.

Trevor leaves for Augusta Thursday, and he's hoping this will not be his first and last trip to the Masters.
