The view from Chopper 6 showed an SUV in the air wedged between a SEPTA bus and a tractor-trailer.
According to Deputy Chief Joseph Hagan with the Haverford Township Police Department, the driver of the SUV crossed over into the westbound lanes of West Chester Pike, causing a crash involving at least four other vehicles.
"A witness described the vehicle as riding on the median of West Chester Pike," said Hagan.

Police believe the SUV driver may have been suffering from a medical emergency.
The SUV driver and three others were injured and taken to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
"There's one injury on the SEPTA bus, one complaining of chest pains from the result of the accident, one that took themselves to the hospital with a minor leg injury, and then the driver of the vehicle in the black Chevy," said Hagan.
SEPTA sent Action News this statement on the crash:
"Safety is our top priority, and our preliminary investigation shows that the SEPTA bus operator followed all proper procedures. The operator is receiving medical observation this evening, but fortunately did not suffer serious injuries, nor did any passengers. SEPTA will continue to fully cooperate with the ongoing police investigation."
