Truck driver seriously injured in deer accident in Del.

HOCKESSIN, Del. (WPVI) -- A truck driver was seriously injured when a deer flew through his windshield Friday morning in Hockessin, Delaware.

The man was driving along Lancaster Pike around 10:30 when another car crashed into the deer and it flew into his truck.

The man was taken to Christiana Hospital with injuries to his face, head and upper body.

The woman who hit the deer was not injured.

The animal did not survive.
